In reply to comment: Sins of omissions count, too (see in situ)

The "sin of omission"

would depend on each state's ballot would it not?

1st let me say that my first vote was cast for Reagan and I've never not voted since I turned 18.

I've looked at the candidates on the SC ballot and don't feel a "sin of omission" regarding not voting. I do know though that I will have to give an account "one day" for all my choices. I've really boiled it down to "all this is window dressing" but the vote for your county/parish sheriff. Should my sheriff ever become opposed, I'll get out and vote (maybe).

Being a libertarian, I would think it would be okay "to not vote" if that's what my conscious tells me?

I would go GJ had I not heard RP (over and over) state: "Without life there is no liberty, without liberty there is no life". To me it can't be any more plain than that and why GJ doesn't get that "as a Libertarian" and all, is beyond me.

Freedom is not: doing everything you want to.
Freedom is: not having to do what you don't want to do.
