I think he has other people read it for him
If there was a popular website dedicated to how awesome I was, I would read it all the time, which consequently would cause me to become less awesome.
One of the reasons we love this guy is because he seems so averse to self-worship. I can see him restraining himself with this, like he has with most of the other temptations that have come with his lot in life.
