Comment: Honorary chair...an explanation

Many here seem unsure of what an honorary chair is. I know but I looked up a definition since I was too lazy to write one out. lol
An Honorary chair is one of the ways of an institution to attract public attention. Usually the role of Honorary Chair is given to someone who has a very good publicity, who is important or famous in the region or the whole nation. This sort of people have connections in high grounds so they bring popularity to the institution or to that specific event.
Sometimes honorary chairs are given duities as member of boards etc. Their primary duty is to use their publicity and power to benefit this company/event but they are not directly in the administration.
