I think he had a lot of dissappointment in 08

There were way too many like me in 08. I absolutely REFUSED to join the GOP. I begged, pleaded, bribed and attempted to coerse Ron Paul to do it MY WAY, go Indy or go third party, but NOT THE GOP.

He wound up giving us a debate of the candidates from which we came, IOWs he sent us back to where we came.

This election, I joined the GOP. I am like many of us who came to understand, he was not going to be democratically moved.. he had a plan, he has a message, and he saw his son achieve the rank of Senator in the GOP, he saw 10 times more credentialed delegates, he saw people join the GOP, take committee seats and begin running for office IN THE GOP, armed with his message: RESTORE THE REPUBLIC.

Ron Paul was alone for decades in the GOP. They didn't pay attention to him, didn't hold him to any oath.. didn't care what he did. But when they saw that this election, people were flooding into the GOP for him, they woke up.. and they decided to do what they could to out us.

When Rand Paul made his announcement to endorse Romney.. it was our wake up call: THEY WILL HOLD YOU TO THE LOYALTY OATHS. Suddenly the loyalty oaths meant something. But we have a solution, because the loyalty oath to the party is not the only oath we take.. we also that a loyalty oath to the constitution.. so we have united and are building co-alations within the GOP with Constitutionalists, Tea Partiers, Earthquakers, Fiscal Conservatives who all agree, Restore the Republic to Constitutional Government.

This election is Ron Paul's last. He will not make an endorsement. He will retire, but he will still be leading us through C4L and FREEDOM PAC, and helping us not lose our way in the GOP to restore the Republic and America to constitutional government despite Romney.

Ron Paul will not abandoned those if us who did what he asked.. join the GOP and make a stand for the Republic.

He may vote for Romney.. it doesn't matter who he votes for.. many oif us are not free to vote for whoevr we want.. and there is not any one who we would vote for.. so we vote Romney, not for Romney, but to empower the GOP where we are working to restore the republic.
