Moderation. . .
In my house my wife is the food nazi and although I generally agree with her on most issues, I'm the force for moderation. On Halloween we let the kids enjoy their loot, they get to choose 12-15 pieces of whatever candy they want, and we 'buy-back' the rest... give them cash for the remainder.
My wife buys half-organic and certain things conventional and she's very aware of which conventional things are the worst and which are not so bad... Corn and Soy are out completely for example unless organic.
I understand your concerns about food... and they are certainly justified.. no argument there. But, balance with your marriage is important. Let your wife know you're reasonably concerned and want to shift away from GMO food, but that you understand it is a challenging undertaking in terms of cost, effort and lifestyle change and that you are not going to insist on your way all the time, but rather talk things through and change gradually.
You'll never get it perfect unless you're extremely wealthy and have people to procure and prepare your food. Do your best to share info with her.. watch Food Inc. and other documentarys...
But the marriage comes first!
