The call is not for everyone.

It is only the elect who are being called out at this time. It is they who are being prepared for the coming manifestation of the sons of God. Anyone who has received the call to sonship at this time will know His voice and follow Him.

When the Lord Jesus Christ first came to His own people His own people did not receive Him. Those who opposed Him most strenuously were the leaders of the Church in the Age of the Feast of Passover, the ones who claimed God given authority over the interpretation of scripture and over the people. These were the priests, Levites, scribes and Pharisees. It was those very priests who crucified our Lord as they were meant to do in the Plan of God.

As it was then so it is now. The measure of the Holy Spirit given to the Church in the Age of the Feast of Pentecost, that is even now passing away, has been insufficient to bring us all into perfection. Men once more in the hubris of the carnal mind have usurped the place of the Spirit of Truth and set themselves up as the only dispensers of the knowledge of the glory of the Lord. They have throughout the past Age persecuted and killed many of the true saints of God. This was also foreknown and predestined in the Plan of God.

There remains one more Feast to be fulfilled, the Feast of Tabernacles, at which time the fullness of the Spirit will be poured out on all flesh and those who throughout the Ages have known the Lord Jesus Christ in the fellowship of His sufferings will then know Him in the power of His resurrection. This is the First Resurrection. It is these sons of God who will restore the Creation and bring forth in fullness the Kingdom of God. This is the event that is now at the door.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)
