You are right but that doesn't mean

that Scripture or in other words true worship does. Christianity is full of paganism that was brought in mostly by the unholy roman church under Constantine. But just because people are unrighteous doesn't mean that Scriptural truth is of no effect. I don't know what you mean by Hymn melodies but christmas and easter are definitely pagan and against GOD.
