Conspiracy theory fills the secrecy void

The government loses credibility because it lends trillions of dollars in secret. The government loses credibility because it wages a secret war overseas in Iran and Syria and probably every middle eastern country. The government loses credibility because it has a 60 billion dollar black ops budget. The government loses credibility because the executive has the right to assassinate without public or judicial review. The government loses credibility because it has the right to detain citizens without public or judicial review. The government loses credibility because it operates prisons in secrecy. The government loses credibility because its agents, the legislators access private information and use that information to make commercial and trading dealings. When america asks why only conspiracy theories fill the void.
