Don't confuse the early church with today's RCC

When the Roman pope left the Church in 1054, a lot of things changed and keep changing. Although technically you're right; the one holy catholic and apostolic church has not changed at all, it's just called "orthodoxy" because all others, starting with the RCC are unorthodox. The RCC began a thousand years after Christ and simply took ownership of a history it didn't really have.
