What about it?

I have dyslexia. Dyslexia has been my greatest enemy all my life. Even though my glasses cost me nearly $500.00, I still can't see well. I am told that lasics will not resolve the problem, I would still have to wear glasses, but I am willing to give it a shot.. before lasics I have to have a prior eye operation, which is being scheduled now, as the operation is located in another county and I have to make arrangements.

Growing up, no one knew what dyslexia was. My Father gave me a "Learn to spelll" book every year for Christmas. He was giften in literature and edited everything he wrote. I drove him wild with my grammar and spelling.

I'm very sorry that my disability offends you and hope you know, it offends and hurts me profoundly, yet, I will not allow it to silence me.
