But Democracy is just any country with a system that votes
A more accurate statement would be, "We are not a Direct Democracy, but a Constitutional Republic"
The founders were fighting against DIRECT DEMOCRACY. The implications of us just being a "Democracy" can also mean we are a country like China, where people do vote.
We should endorse Human Rights and Freedom, not just Democracy/Republic
