I must add, you also don't understand the concept of apostolic succession. It's not "the church goes through Peter", it's that all the apostles established patriarchies (Peter established Rome and Antioch, James established Jerusalem, Mark established Alexandria, and Andrew established Constantinople) and all the patriarchies are united under Peter (Alexandria and Constantinople are in schism, however), and every bishop has a lineage that can be traced back to the apostles, and every bishop carries the authority of the apostles.
