But don't networks have the freedom to choose programming?

Why would a network televise a 3rd party debate that very few people will watch? Networks make money from advertising, and advertisers pay for viewers. If there's no market for the 3rd party debate then there's no reason for networks to put it on TV.

Again, the only libertarian solution is for more and more people to start believing in and demanding liberty from their politicians, and refusing to support anything else.
