Pros and cons according to that page

My personal first impression after reading his site. (subject to change, some items may be in the wrong category due to my insufficient knowledge or lack of understanding on the subject, but for the most part this seems correct to me. Please feel free to politely discuss or correct.)

-The promotion of the public interest through the defeat of the systemic corruption that has caused massive failures in public policy.(good, but vague, I mean who doesnt want that or pay lip service to that?)
-An immediate end to the on-going wars (Good, but as is mentioned below by kodiakalpha, Rocky is quoted as saying, "As the global superpower, we have an unparalleled responsibility to be a moral leader to the world. We can no longer economically afford not to be." which is problematic)
-Treatment of substance abuse as a public health rather than criminal justice issue
-Control of the Federal Reserve by the Treasury Department and Congress (He's at least talking about the FR and that some sort of control should be put over it which is more than can be said for most politicians. The depth of his understanding of it is uncertain.)
-An end to the legal concept of corporate “personhood”
-An end to the stranglehold on our government by the military-industrial complex
-Activist against torture and human rights abuses
-Only major city mayor who advocated the impeachment of GWB
    - “President Obama has institutionalized some of the worst abuses of the Bush Administration” and has gone even further in establishing an imperial presidency
-On August 11, 2011, Rocky denounced the Democratic Party and resigned his affiliation with it. He wrote in a letter to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee that "The Constitution has been eviscerated while Democrats have stood by with nary a whimper. It is a gutless, unprincipled party, bought and paid for by the same interests that buy and pay for the Republican Party."

-Essential health care coverage for all citizens (government mandated healthcare)
-Urgent international leadership by the U.S. to prevent against the most catastrophic consequences of climate disruption (globalist warming pusher)
-Adequate revenues to balance the budget through fair taxation (refers to taxes as revenue instead of what they really are)
-A balanced budget or a surplus except in times of war or major recession (except?)
-A constitutional amendment to overrule Citizens United and to allow limits or prohibitions on the corrosive impact of money in our electoral system (A constitutional amendment to amend the first amendment? well at least he's trying to do it through the proper procedure I guess)
    -Planned parenthood
-Many national and international awards for climate change activism
-Rocky has always been committed to the principle that justice – social justice, environmental justice, and economic justice – must be an essential aim of public policy (believes that force should be used to achieve social, economic and environmental justice.)

My conclusion: He seems sincere in his progressive socialist beliefs, not just pandering, but still he's wrong on many things. He seems to understand dems and reps are substantively the same thing paid for by the same source, which is good, and he does hold a few good positions and principles that many of us share. I believe we can and should be able to work with him and any like minded activists in the form of coalitions. I would not support him as president but would support him in a few of those shared causes.
