...that the war on drugs is an utter failure and should be stopped. I agree with most of what else you said as well.

I was quibbling with the idea that morality can't be legislated when we know, if we're honest with ourselves, that it not only can be but it is and must be -- unless one is an anarchist, which I admit I am not.
