Well, here's what "TommiePaine" has to say --
The idea that we ALL have to do this or that is B-U-L-L-S-H-I-T.
Other than the trolls around here, we are all here because we cherish LIBERTY -- and we know that government is the opposite of liberty.
And THAT, my friend, is our common ground.
We do not need a "leader." Ross Perot was a leader, until they threatened to kill his daughter (look up what he said about why he dropped out, never to be heard from again).
None of us knows what threats were made towards Ron or if any were. But that is irrelevant.
We ALL believe in liberty. We do NOT need "leaders" to tell us what to do or think. We do NOT all need to move in one direction -- in fact, that is dangerous, and I submit that it is part of why you are seeing the fractionation.
The great thing about understanding liberty is that once you "get it," you will never go back. The MAIN thing we need is a cultural shift in understanding what the truth is.
Some of us are anarcho-capitalists. Are they right? YES.
Some of us are minarchists. Are they right? YES.
Some of us are "Blue Republicans." Are they right? YES.
Some of us will vote for Gary Johnson. Are they right? YES.
Some of us will write in Ron Paul. Are they right? YES.
Some of us will refuse to vote. Are they right? YES.
Liberty is what it is all about. Once 10-15% of the population really "gets it," it is all over for the statists.
Each of us who does "get it" should choose our own way of pushing the liberty agenda forward.
