The difference between writing-in Ron Paul and voting for a

nobody that no one has ever heard of is the difference between sounding a clear, ringing bugle call or banging on pots and pans.

Ron Paul's message is clear and ringing, and his name is indelibly associated with it. Casting a third party vote just because he's on the ballot just makes a little noise that everyone will ignore.
