similar to those who try to get me to vote for willard so I don't "split the vote." lol It really doesn't matter, I know 4 people who wrote in Ron last cycle in my state and the FEC only reported 1 vote for him. I had the opportunity to vote for him in the primary, he got cheated, that's that. Sorry, but I am not going to write in Ron no matter how tempting. And you are right, it is about the message, not the man.

Using your logic, one can say, "Casting a write in vote just because he is the name associated with the message just makes a little noise that everyone will ignore." But sadly, I guarantee you Ron's write in votes will be largely unreported.
