You also don't seem to get what the 'separation of church and state means', read the rest of Jefferson's statement, it's always so conveniently truncated to suit people's own dogmatic purposes. I don't appreciate having your own dogma forced on me or anyone else, either. Evolution is multi-faceted. To say 'I believe in evolution' is like saying 'I believe in food'. It's such a general statement. WHICH aspects of evolution is what people disagree on. I don't much care for the fairy tale aspect of it myself. I don't need scientists dreaming up scenarios for me and teaching it in public schools as 'science', that just promotes lazy reasoning.
