by the constitution, the United States has no jurisdiction inside states. The supreme court has no jurisdiction inside states, at least not between citizens of its state and the state. The 10th amendment reserves the states a lot of rights.

The question here is, do treaties override any other rights? To answer the question, I would ask you if the feds could sign a treaty declaring that you have no rights? If they can, then certainly this is a softy and Texas should back down.
