I agree, but I was using it

more in the sense of assuming that certain people are a certain way because of expressed attributes. Which, as you pointed out, ironically does exactly that.

I think we (as a collective group, lol) need to try to understand the grey areas and accept that there is no defined line of idealism. We are a VERY mixed bunch, but liberty has drawn us together. We try so hard to distinguish ourselves from the status quo that we become accustomed to find the differences more than the similarities. I think this is why we have such a hard time with staying cohesive.
