It Had the Opposite Effect on Me

How can we drop the baton after that dedication? This is a relay-race; we don't elect presidents for life, so even if Ron Paul were elected, someone would have to come along after him.

I will happily vote for Gary Johnson. He has a track record of tackling that fabulous Ron Paul line: "we have allowed ourselves to be overrun by bureaucrats," by vetoing and streamlining regulations across the board. That, alone, would be sufficient reason to vote for him.

I know that Ron Paul will not be writing his own name in. He's focussed on the future, not the past.
