Disagree, but...

...I appreciate the reasonable and respectful arguments you make.

That said, I have one big question. Why would Gary Johnson "flip flop" to "ride the coattails of the liberty movement?" What's in for him? Why would you go from two-term governor who could have a future within the party establishment to an outsider who will likely earn around 2% of the popular vote?

Usually, flip flops are strategically TOWARD the popular position, not toward an outsider position. Romney positioned himself as a moderate in MA because that's how MA rolls, then he flipped over to a "severe conservative" for the primary and now acts like a moderate for the general. That's flip flopping, to a T.
