Comment: Help?

I love Ron Paul. I really want to write him in.

However, as I understand it from an article on PolicyMic(I can't find it now, but it's recent) the Libertarian party is REALLY close to reaching 5% of the vote, which would enable them to be recognized as an official third party - be eligible for federal campaign monies and be allowed to debate in the General debates.

I don't know how factual that is - only know what I read.
This is why I'm leaning towards Gary Johnson - which again I'd rather write in Ron Paul - but if we can achieve third party recognition I think that's a higher goal.

Please inform this voter as the validity of this subject because I'm lost on what to do.
