My question.

Given his assertion that he wants to do everything he can to promote conservative principles whom did he support as Republican nominee during the primary cycle?

Somehow I doubt that it was Ron Paul. In which case he is not as he asserts doing everything in his power to advance the cause of conservatism in America. By this he said he means Limited Government. Personal Freedom. Personal Responsibility. There has been no candidate who personifies these qualities more than Ron Paul so if he did not vote for him in his State primary then he is just another hypocrite who abandoned his principles. I wonder who he did vote for.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)
