On the German Autobahns, there are no speed limits in some sections. However, there ARE speed limits for certain classes of vehicles, including but not limited to commercial vehicles and vehicles towing trailers. They also have speed limits when there is construction.
So if the argument for NO SPEED LIMITS AT ALL is true, then why are there limits under special circumstances for even the Autobahns?
The above argument by the other poster would assume that the Autobahns would self-regulate.....or would they?
NO. Speed limits are necessary to an extent.
