New Yorkers, why are you like

New Yorkers, why are you like this? Nobody looks people in the eye, just straight ahead. I've been on the subway a few times and it feels kind of dead.

If that had happened out West it would've been a completely different scene. Not knocking your interaction, really. Just observing. Are most big city folks desensitized?
