Perhaps you are right. It was my impression that he is.

My observation was related to the questionable list of egregious accomplishments that he saddles Obama with that add weight to the "anyone but Obama" meme, including this one:

8.) Under Obama we have seen the collapse of the Fourth Estate, once a powerful force of its own in the checks and balances within society. The national media is now run by corporations and corporate advertisers, all dependent directly or indirectly on zero percent interest loans from the Federal Reserve, which is mounting a ferocious fight to keep its deliberations and monetary awards secret.

This was not Obama's doing. The controlled media have been such for at least a century and Romney's Bain Capital owns the talk radio hosts Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh and others.

Both Obama and Romney are puppets and the one chosen by the shadow government will win. Given that Romney apparently started oiling the wheels of his campaign with donations to Party organisations in 2004 and given the ruthless and unethical way in which he won the nomination I came to the conclusion that he was the chosen one this time around.

Doug has given all the other boiler plate reasons to not re-elect Obama but these are just a smoke screen that he surely by now realises have no bearing on who is elected.

On the other hand it may be that he IS being ironic and in that case I apologise for my cynicism. It would have been quite natural to row back into the comfort zone he was in for so many decades but maybe his conversion to reality is strong enough to keep him outside the camp.

"Jesus answered them: 'Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is a slave to sin. The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son remains forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.'" (John 8:34-36)
