Losing proposition - no deal

First, let me start by sayting I agree we need to do something. I don't think using an existing moniker that has a negative perception to 90% of the people is exactly the right move. The Teocons have forever tarnished the name - we need to let it die like the Edsel line. Point by point:

*We did not start what is called the Tea Party! Please stop playing along with mythology. That was a planned mass media event funded and guided by the Neocons to keep the sheeple focused on the GOP. Just being associated with the term "Tea Party" is a negative at this point. Also, since 2007, we have not celebrated the anniversaries - so this would be our 2nd! 2nd! Big wow. The media will be so intrigued......

*The establishment knows we are here, and they don't care. They still got 95% of the vote. They still have control and can spin anything we do.

*With ya on showing Ron Paul some appreciation.

*This one is just silly. The "Neocon Tea Pary crowd" IS the Tea Party. We need to recruit and we should use the disaster that was Romney for it. But, using a worn out cliche' is not the answer.

*The Occupy groups? I think we might need some help there - but they are definitely not going to join a "Tea Party", they see themselves as the opposite of that farce.

I think we need to show the sheeple how awful a candidate Romney was and we need to continue to warn them about the coming collapse, etc.... But, we need something new. I loved the "Live Free" tag line from the GJ campaign. Maybe we can come up with something else. Maybe....something still related to the original Revolution.

"In the beginning of a change the patriot is a scarce man, and brave, and hated and scorned. When his cause succeeds, the timid join him, for then it costs nothing to be a patriot."--Mark Twain
