(ever); never once in all human-history, stopped or altered the "tide" that wiped out, subjugated, humiliated, or decimated his people.

There were 1,000's of shamans trying to stop Genghis Kan, Atila the Hun, Great Westward Expansion, Alexander the Great, Hitler, Napoleon, ESPECIALLY Mao, Pol Pot, etc etc etc etc.

The reason why it didn't work is the same reason Christianity can't end Islam or Judaism can't in Islam or Islam can't end everyone by prayer or bead-rattling or by affirmation -and- is why all of those people put most of their time into pragmatic strategies (the ones who don't are easily wiped out).

Iran is a perfect example -- compared to Iraq or most Middle Eastern countries.
