Comment: No disrespect,
No disrespect,
but your comment,
"There is no "quest" except by unbelievers, agnostics who are still searching for truth and academics who begin with the thesis "there was no historical Jesus"...or if there was he was just a man who became a hoax."
is bold, and simply untrue. Not a good idea to use absolutes. I was a very firm believer in Jesus Christ, always thirsting for knowledge and praying for wisdom and guidance. I went on a 5 day water fast last year, in which I spent the entire time reading the bible and praying. Afterwards, I did look up historical evidence of Jesus, and found none. Shockingly. I don't need historical facts to believe in Jesus, but my research led me on and on and on and suffice it to say, I am no longer Christian. It is sad to me, that of all people, believers are the ones who just believe without researching. To each his own though.
The world is my country, all mankind are my brethren, and to do good is my religion.
