Change should not have been allowed in the first place, it would be considered a breach of trust, = tampering & changing the Word, = so it does Not remain the Holy & Sacred. We can also safely assume that in some instances your (c) point played a role, re agenda.

Take the US Constitution as an example, = no one is allowed to change or tamper with it. When serious matters are brought to the attention of the higher courts - a bench of 5+ learned judges sit and ponder over the issue. RE Teachings, you are right that names are the foundation of knowledge. Therefore it has priority & importance.
