Everyone knows that the CIA Chief in many ways is a higher position than POTUS. The CIA is like the Fed with a secret budget and answerable to no one. They kill people, and no one ever finds out.

Petraeus is 'taking one for the team.' What he may also already know is that he is going to be turning up dead before too long.
