I'm not a Rose fan or an anarchist, but this fallacy extends right into the legal system - where it used to be there had to be a real victim that wants to file a complaint, not crimes against "the State"; and it extends to the idea of a Republic, where the "people" are used in a mindless aggregate, instead of meaning "individual people" giving their consent individually, etc.

It even extends to a view of the Wizard of Oz (not my own creation/idea), where at the end the "wizard of oz", a fake head projection represents the "talking heads" of the media. Why? Because "People" don't exist as a living aggregate. A mob of people has no mind of its own, it has no talking mouth - and except the media is telling you "what the people really think", there is no way you would know.

Lesson here - the end of the Wizard of Oz should be where (you) stop taking the dictates of what the mob or politics want you to think, and learn to live your own life. It's in interpretation in line with something no one else can prevent you from having. Rewrite.

And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.
