Ron's "approach" wouldn't have helped him much in the general election. You can bet David Acelrod and the Obama machine would have fully explained to Democratic voters Ron Paul's radicalness in rolling back government. I like Dennis Kucinich and his approach, but, I wouldn't vote for the economic redistributor if paid to do so. The only way any liberty candidate is ever going to win the presidency is by changing the viewpoint of about 15%-20% of Democrats on the role of government the way Reagan did. If Blue Dems go right back to supporting Keynesian, welfare, Wilsonian Democrats now that Ron Paul is out of the picture, then Ron really didn't accomplish much as far as Democrats are concerned.
