Might not make make too much difference

but right now, a copper penny dated 1982 or prior is worth about 2.4 cents. I find that they are about 1/3 of my change and I have managed to gather a few thousand in no time. Easy hedge against inflation that costs you nothing at all. People on ebay are selling $10 face value of these pennies for $20. Just about every bank branch has a "penny man" that comes in daily and cashes FRN's in for pennies. Also $1,000.00 worth of nickels is worth about $1,080.00 right now. They won't go down in value like your paper money will and you will get a higher return then any bank is giving.
