Even if someone is "born that way", it does not make it normal.

People can be born with, or develop, defects and disorders. Some are physical and some are mental or emotional.

If I "prefer" to drink alcohol night and day, and I like it that way, is that a normal behavior or a defect?' Is my liver designed to process that much alcohol?

If I prefer to gorge myself on food and become grossly overweight, is this a healthy and normal behavior, merely a "preference" for a perfectly good, but not mainstream "lifestyle"? Is my body designed to handle that much food?

Maybe I have handwashing OCD. Or maybe I'm a "cutter". Or I'm bulimic. Am I hurting myself? If I like doing it, does that make it healthy and normal?

What about homosexuality and pedophilia? Just normal sexual variants? Ask: Was the human body DESIGNED for this behavior? The reproductive system is for procreation.
