Every idea and ideal that Dr. Paul brought to the floor of Congress over twenty-three yrs. served in office, over that thirty-six yr. period; was summed up perfectly in his farewell speech. It will be an interesting read for those brave enough to go through the archives in search of any inconsistencies between the principles of individual Liberty, as rooted in the Constitution, and Congressman Paul's many speeches given throughout over his third of a century of faithful service.
Whether he is on record in the halls of Congress, or a phone-video in a coffee shop, Ron Paul is the same man with the same message. May his example revive the last of the remnant of public-servants in high offices that still have souls unsold to tyranny.
For there to be future Liberty-lovers, we who hold the line today must bring our conscience and convictions to become our best in all ways possible. As the good doctor has practiced, so let us do within our circles of influence.
"This wisdom have I seen also under the sun, and it seemed great unto me:
*There was a little city, and few men within it; and there came a great king against it, and besieged it, and built great bulwarks against it: *Now there was found in it a poor wise man, and he by his wisdom delivered the city; yet no man remembered that same poor man.
*Then said I, Wisdom is better than strength: nevertheless the poor man's wisdom is despised, and his words are not heard.
*The words of wise men are heard in quiet more than the cry of him that ruleth among fools.
*Wisdom is better than weapons of war: but one sinner destroyeth much good." - Ecclesiastes 9:13-18
