Comment: For the caller suggesting

to end the Bush tax cuts to help pay off the national debt;

Why should WE pay more taxes to pay off a debt that our government incurred? Did we have any say about what our government leaders decided to waste so much of OUR money on? Heck No. Don't you think its rather expensive the so-called services we get cost so much? That our Government leaders and employees always enjoy a standard of living better than most of us while doing such a poor job with OUR money?

I don't understand why the average citizen doesn't get this. We should be screaming that all our leaders take a 33-50-% pay cut until the National debt is reduced.
