He may have been referring to reasons for establishment candidates--who were polling 3rd or 4th days before a primary--pulling off 8 vote victories. Think about it, Santorum got screwed so obviously Rand would be no exception. Primaries are generally fair game for the GOP to do whatever the hell they want.
