It really bothered us

that the candidate that we helped (ran for state Assembly), who is very liberty minded and a definite good guy was soundly beaten by the extremely liberal nut democrat - that really done it for us. We really felt we could make a difference by supporting local candidates, but NY is just too far gone. It's a real dead duck.
