...took a bad turn through the fall, leading to the Abrahamic covenant of a particular nation being a priest nation to lead the Gentile nations to God, which also took a bad turn through Israel's rebellion and idolatry and exile, leading to the weight of the covenant resting on not a particular nation, but a Person, the suffering servant in Isaiah. And as He rose, and the Church rises in Him to new life, this will in turn lead to the uptick of Israel restored, and then finally the uptick of all things being restored as in Colossians. :) Nested covenants and priests, leading to the core Covenant and High Priest as the focal point. :)
