I know what you mean though.

Unfortunately, I'm not as optimistic you seem to be about Obama's 'anti-war' base deserting him. Why? Because many of them have made it abundantly clear that they are willing to use force to get whatever they want, doesn't matter who it is or what they think they're getting out of it. Also, the fact that denying reality is a full time job for most of these folk (now there's a way to reduce unemployment!)
