Second-hand smoke nearly killed me..

I grew up in a house where both parents smoked. I was always sick - constant ears, throat, nose infections. I lived on antibiotics. Even after the doctors told my mother that I'm extremely allergic to her cigarette smoking, she refused to stop smoking around me or in the house. It wasn't until I moved out that I actually recovered.
