If we had vouchers (as a way point!) then there's a way out, but so long as the parents are being forced/taxed to pay for this option, they have a right to send their children there without the school keeping tabs on whether Andrea is in the bathroom. Think about it - that is an implication.
The bigger problem is that the children not protesting are probably less likely to balk if, as adults, the REAL ID act is implemented. They're being indoctrinated that Big Principal/Brother tracking you is fine in a "free" society. After all, we live in a "free" society, because their government-funded government class told them so!
