Dr. Paul is right, however, the point that so many of us make about this trajedy, is that we ARE involved. We give Israel billions every year, and provide diplomatic cover for every attempt by UN member states to rule against Israel. The US used to approve of resolutions deeming the occupation illegal. Israel's membership in the UN is in fact conditional on its granting Palestinian refugees the right to return to what is now Israel, "as soon as hostilities cease." Of course, the latter is why Israel shows no interest in ending the conflict. We must end this "special relationship" with Israel. And consumers should make the moral choice to boycott all Israeli goods, especially those created by Jewish only colonizers in the West Bank.
