TN doesn't have a state tax.
TN doesn't have a state tax. But it's sales tax is the highest in the nation at 7%. And local sales taxes can raise it on average about 2.5%. 3/4 of the year is warm. Beautiful state. But given a choice, I'd rather be in middle or east TN. They seem to be less liberal if you know what I mean.
