But are liberties, overall increasing? Does a politician have a record of increasing or decreasing real, significant liberties? Let's not allow ourselves to be bought off by another totalitarian bent politician offering another red herring.
I have no particular opinion, at this point, on the new governor (which means 'restrictor of freedom') of New Hampshire. Some politicians hope to garner more power by granting non-citizens who didn't 'stand in line' preferential treatment. Some politicians hope to garner more power by appealing to those who smoke marijuana. Time will sort them out ... if we keep our eyes open.
