Sure, I get it Kokesh, 'Mericans know their brands but don't know anything about politics. It's important to point out the ignorance of the masses, but I see no reason to smear "consumerism" in the process. Ironically, this bias against "consumerism" (or shall we call it bourgeois culture?) is a product of exactly the cultural degradation and dumbing-down which Adam is's a bit of Marxoid nonsense that saturates the mainstream and apparently infects even libertarians.

So, I say, shop as much as you like. Buy that 3rd TV, and sit in front of it in your gigantic oversized chair while eating freeze-dried deep-fried mayo bites and take for granted this standard of living that would be inconceivable to most kings who ever lived...enjoy it, revel in it.

...and then at another time, read a book. The two are not mutually exclusive. There are plenty of hours in the day.
