The good news is that we're still falling.
Obama and the media are pushing this "fiscal cliff" meme in advance of the scheduled tax increases, to hang it all on the "obstructionist Republican party".
He's got his sheeple bleating "obstructionist republican party baa baa". I cannot listen to them.
